We currently operate from two core locations, Rubery in Worcestershire & Olton in Solihull

The business was started by Caz Burness just before lockdown we are really pleased that my sister-in-law (Jeanette) has joined the team and has been working with us over the past twelve months...

Operating from these two locations now gives excellent coverage across Birmingham ready to assist with all kinds of pet support.

Caz and Darron have lived in Rubery for the last 16 years with 2 wonderful children, Max (16) and Henry (10).

We have the pleasure of living with Macie and Arthur our much loved Cockapoos, Macie is 3 Arthur is 1, both dogs love meeting new friends.

Jeanette and Alan live in Olton and have a wonderful family, family pets include two cockapoo Bear and Lola, they also have two chickens 🙂

Caz set up Beacon Barkers in February of 2020, just before the first lockdown. Throughout the pandemic, things have been challenging, however, we are pleased to offer our services throughout keeping key workers supported.

In particular, we are delighted to support NHS staff including several Paramedics working in the area.

I am a qualified pet first aider and have a diploma in Pet sitting/Dog Walking. We are fully insured to undertake dog walking, boarding, pet transport, and other services.

Fully DBS security checked following the National Association of Pet Sitters and Dog Walkers Code of Conduct.

We are delighted with the recent reviews and due to a significant number of new clients have introduced an availability checker to help with your planning throughout 2022. (Last updated 20th June 2022)

I have a keen interest in dog training and behaviours and I hope to explore these more in the future.

Before establishing Beacon Barkers, I worked for 23 years at TK Maxx as a PA. I recently left to follow my dream job working with Pets.

Beacon Barkers is very much a family affair with everyone helping out, it’s really important to us that our guest’s visit is very much home from home experience. We cover 7 days a week, there are no additional charges for Bank Holidays and or Christmas and New Year.

As part of our commitment to ensuring the best care and attention is given to both you and your pet, we ask you to meet up before your first visit, this FREE service will ensure you get to meet us and for us to meet you, gives you an opportunity to ask any questions, to visit where your pet will be and go on a short walk if required.
