Best Friends Home Boarding provide overnight boarding and day care for small dogs and mammals. We specialise in Dachshunds but we wil take other small breeds. We have 18 years experience of caring for Dachshunds and have a great love of the breed. We owned two long haired dachshunds for 18 years, sadly the last one died September 2017. We are very aware of dachshunds health issues including spinal problems (IVDD). We live in a spacious detached bungalow with a one hundred and fifty foot fully enclosed rear garden. Our property is equipped for dachshunds with ramps and they are handled with care when lifting and we have no stairs in our property. There are local fields and parks on our doorstep. We aim to be a holiday home for your dogs and with the owners permission will take them on group walks and coastal excursions as well as providing fun time activities. During school holidays we will combine dachshunds from different owners. The average amount of dogs boarding at one time is two to four. Outside of school holidays we will take exclusive bookings for just one owners dog/s. We live next door to a veterinary practice whom we are registered with. There are no children or other pets currently risiding in our home, just myself and husband. We also home board other small mammals and have 16 years experience of caring for guinea pigs and rabbits.
