About Happy Hounds Dog Walking and Boarding Service

My name is Carole and I have been running my business, Happy Hounds Dog Walking and Boarding Service for 4 years and have loved every day. I am based at my home in Cookley, near Kidderminster and offer pets and their owners a reliable, friendly dog walking and boarding service, aswell as home visiting for small pets. I am CRB checked and am fully insured. As a registered member of the National Association of Pet Sitters I adhere to their standards and Code of Practice and am a qualified Canine First Responder.

 I can walk your dog on a regular or occasional basis and can collect them within a 10 mile radius of my home. I board dogs in my own home with my dog, two cats and nine year old daughter  and try to keep their routines as close to normal as possible. I set my business up because I was concerned about where I could board my own dog whilst I was on holiday and thought other pet owners probably may have the same concerns.

I first heard about Carole when I started researching dog walkers for our puppy Ralph. Carole came highly recommended, so we called and arranged to meet. Carole clearly has an affinity with dogs and people and I knew straight away Ralph would be in good hands. Carole is extremely professional and flexible, but most importantly puts the dogs in her care first. After Ralph was viciously attacked by an angry swarm of wasps, when out on one of his walks with Carole, she instantly reacted ensuring all wasps were off him whilst being stung herself in the process. After liaising with both myself and my husband over the phone, as we were out at work, she proceeded to take Ralph to the vets to be checked over and receive medication for his numerous wasp stings. (Carole thinks of everything and we had already signed a vet release form on our initial meeting, which detailed everything, should an unfortunate event such as this occur). Carole has been a source of constant support for us whilst we have adjusted to having an extremely loving but very boisterous puppy join our already busy family life. Carole goes above and beyond everyday to ensure the dogs in her care have the very best, Carole is more than just our dog walker, she is now a very good friend. Whether it be dog walking, pet sitting or boarding services you are looking for, I cannot recommend Carole highly enough.

Carole regularly walks and boards my dog and has done since he was 12 weeks old. Stanley adores her. Carole has a natural rapport with all the dogs in her care and clearly loves them dearly. She treats them all as individuals and nurtures all their needs. This is not just a job to her but a vocation and passion. I would recommend Carole to anyone who is looking for a loving, trustworthy and professional person to look after their pet.
