Any agreement or contract made between Pet Owners and Pet Sitters is at the both parties own risk and liability. NarpsUK has no liability and will not enter into any negotiation or disputes between either party. NarpsUK members have agreed to work to our code of practice, however it is the pet owners responsibility to ensure you are satisfied with any pet sitter you select and any agreement is strictly between the pet owner and the pet sitter. We do not offer a mediation service on issues concerned with bookings, charging disputes, financial matters, etc and therefore if you do have a grievance with your pet sitter or dog walker regarding this kind of issue you should seek legal advice from a solicitor.


However we will accept complaints that affect the welfare of the animal and if you have such a complaint then you should put this in writing to:

What will happen next?

  1. We will investigate your complaint
  2. We will respond to your complaint within 14 working days and try and resolve the problem.
  3. At this stage, if you are still not satisfied, you should contact us again and the case will be assessed independently to review the decision.
