PROVIDING EXCEPTIONAL CARE WHEN YOUR NOT THERE
Hello, I’m Jane — a caring, calm and reliable pet sitter based in Surrey. Animals have always been a big part of my life, and I’m passionate about making sure every pet feels safe, understood and genuinely cared for while their family is away.
I’m a NarpsUK Gold Member with a completed Criminal Record Check (DBS) and I’ve trained through the NarpsUK Pet Sitting and Dog Walking Business Course, including Pet First Aid. Over the years, I’ve also worked closely with respected trainers such as Kay Laurence (Learning About Dogs) and Phillipa Williams (Castlemans Gundogs), through both residential programmes and specialist day courses. These experiences have shaped my gentle, welfare‑focused approach to pet care.
My experience isn’t limited to dogs and cats. I have vast experience with horses, having owned my own for 28 years and regularly helping others with daily care, handling and exercise. I’ve also cared for chickens, ducks and caged birds, and I’m confident with their routines, handling needs and welfare.
And at home, I share life with Sydney, my friendly Bichon Frise. He often joins me on pet sits and is calm, sociable and used to a wide variety of animals. However, if you prefer a pet‑sitter without a dog present, I can easily arrange alternative care for him — your comfort and your pets’ needs always come first.
I’m committed to continuous learning and regularly take part in CPD through The International School for Canine Psychology and Behaviour (ISCP). Some of the webinars I’ve completed include:
A Metaphor on Wolves – Marc Adda
Dog Play – Dr Marc Bekoff
The Need to Sniff – Ela Wojciechowska
Sleep and Rest – Caroline Wilkinson
What is Dangerous? – Mike Barnett
Communication – Craig Ogilvie …and many more.
These sessions help me understand animals on a deeper level — how they communicate, how they learn, what they find comforting, and what helps them feel confident and relaxed.
I take time to get to know each animal as an individual. Whether your dog loves exploring and sniffing, your cat prefers quiet companionship, your horse needs calm, confident handling, or your poultry and birds require gentle, attentive care, I adapt my approach to suit their personality and routine
As I’m retired, I have excellent availability and the flexibility to give your animals the time and attention they deserve. My aim is always to create a peaceful, reassuring experience for them — and a stress‑free one for you.
Your pets will be treated with kindness, patience and genuine affection. My goal is simple: to make sure they feel comfortable, secure and happy in their own home until you return.
Please feel free to contact me with any questions.
I look forward to talking to you.

We were delighted with the level of care that Jane provided. We were sent videos showing how well and actively Jane ( and Sydney) were engaging with Forrest, playing with his toys and enjoying a late evening walk.
Jane provides an excellent service and clearly demonstrates her love of dogs. We have already booked future dates
