Recently retired and looking to keep myself occupied whilst keeping fit and keeping my own dogs exercised. I have 2 dogs and a cat and have had dogs all my life which have all been long-lived and won local competitions for best-trained dog in the past. My main hobby is walking, hiking and camping (including responsible rough-camping). I previously undertook many long-distance walks such as Coast to Coast. Lyke Wake, UK 3 Peaks, Flamborough Fling, Cleveland Circuit, Hornstrandir (Iceland) (etc) and have hiked all around England, Scotland, Ireland and Wales as well as Turkey, Iceland, Crete, Martinique, Guadeloupe, Fuerteventura and intend to visit many more !
Since retiring I am doing more hiking and travel, getting myself fit again, reading, socialising, volunteering, drinking beer and running down my pension so I have nothing left to leave to anyone (except to keep my wife in comfort and to some worthwhile animal welfare and care of deprived children charities).
I love animals and wildlife and volunteer when I can for Staffordshire Wildlife Trust. Walking people's dogs gives me the opportunity to keep my cashflow going while I am watching D. Trump devalue my pension, while also helping keep some dogs happy (which makes me happy).
I have had a responsible career in health and safety and insurance and during my working life was security cleared up to 'Developed Vetting' (civil and military nuclear sites / information) and currently have DBS certification.
For a half-hour walk &/or Pet-sitting - £25;
Any additional half-hour (at the same visit) - £15
Biddulph, Mow-Cop, Biddulph Moor, Brown Lees, Knypersley, Mossley, Timbersbrook, Astbury, Congleton.
I can consider further afield but this is dependant on other work in the vicinity and subject to one hour minimum (per visit).
Safe or off-road parking must be available in the vicinity.
Dog-Walking, Dog and Cat Sitting, Feeding, Litter-Tray.
Can consider dog-boarding but only for one dog at a time. Dog must be compatible with my two dogs and cat.
I can transport cats and (within reason) dogs but these would need to be small and owner would need to provide a dog / cat basket capable of being secured to seatbelt.
