About Fit N Furry Dog Walking Services, Gateshead

Hi, I'm Margaret and I own and run Fit N Furry Dog Walking Services, covering Gateshead, Tyne and Wear. I offer mainly dog walking, but can also provide pet sitting or a pop in service to feed your dog, cat or other small animal if required.

I have been around dogs all my life, and currently share my home with Barney,  a 10 year old German Shepherd who I adopted when he was 7. 

I am CRB checked and fully insured for public liability, pet transport, key cover and non-negligent cover. I also hold certificates in dog walking/pet sitting, animal psychology and first aid for animals.

The safety and well being of your pet is always my first priority, and you can be sure your pet is being cared for by an experienced and capable pet sitter, so feel free to contact me to discuss your pet's needs.

Margaret, at very short notice, visited Henry in our home while my partner and I went on a trip. She is a true professional and has completed a vast variety of courses on all things pet related. I was extremely impressed. While we were gone, she gave us multiplie updates on how he was, and sent us pictures of him rolling around the floor in delight with his new friend! I highly recommend fit'n'furry to anyone needing pet services.

Only started with Margaret on Wednesday (3 days ago) and can see so much change with my dog Bentley. He doesn't pull as much and the biggest improvement is sitting to let a dog past. She is my Saviour, I would recommend her to anyone.

After just one visit there is a big improvement in Sheena's aggression and we can see a difference when walking her as far as the barking. Good advice, thanks Margaret. You would definately be our first choice in all matters doggy.

Margaret is a treasure and Paolo loves going for walks with her, he is a sweet boy but is a bit timid, I can already see his confidence growing. I love how she understands his nature and is prepared to take time with him, I would have no qualms about recommending Margaret.

Margaret is very friendly and confident. She has been walking my Boxer Bobbi for a few weeks now and is helping to socialise her. Her advice is sometimes some thing so simple that you never thought of but makes sense. And my dog took to her with no bother at all.

Pet Sitting  -  from £9.00 for 30 mins

 

Prices shown are Monday - Friday

Please add £5.00 for Weekends / Bank Holidays

 

 

Covering Felling, Gateshead, Wardley and surrounding areas.

  • Dog Walking

All walks are tailored to you and your dog's individual needs, and can be on leash or off leash, within a small group of other well behaved dogs or solo. I treat all the dogs in my care as my own and provide plenty exercise, stimulation and socialising.

  • Pet Sitting    

Providing peace of mind, knowing that your puppy, cat or elderly dog is being taken out for toilet breaks and having some company while you are at work. I will also ensure your pet has fresh water available, feed them or give any medication, if required.

 

Although your dog will generally get more exercise and have more fun off leash, I operate a strict Off-Leash Policy - so you can be assured that your dog will not be allowed off leash without your prior permission.
