Hi, I'm Sam. Thank you for visiting my website.
I am a Graduate Member of the Academy of Dog Training and Behaviour (ADTB) and a Gold Level member of the National Association of Registered Pet Sitters and Dog Walkers (NarpsUK), I am fully insured to provide services to 4-pawed animals, I hold a current CRB certificate and I specialise in providing individual services to pet owners in the Bannerbrook Park and surrounding areas of Coventry.
I am passoinate about animals and my home is shared with three cats. In the past, my pets have included dogs, a pony, fish, mice, hamsters and guinea pigs.
My practical experience has been gained not only through looking after my own pets but also through working in boarding kennels, catteries, grooming rooms, a horse sanctuary and with a Kennel Club Registered dog breeder..
Over the years I have been lucky enough to work with highly trained animals (such as serving prison service and police dogs), with very many not-quite-so-well trained or behaved animals (including many family pets) and, at times, with extremely disturbed, rescue animals who have needed tremendous amounts of love, care and attention.
In addition to my extensive practical experience, I studied for three years at Moreton Morell College to obtain NVQ Level 1 and 2 certificates in small animal care, I hold Level 2 and Level 3 Veterinary Nursing certificates and I have studied with the Academy Of Dog Training And Behaviour to reinforce my puppy and dog training skills,.

By specialising on providing services for dogs, cats and small animals in a relatively small geographic area I believe I can provide more responsive and cost effective services to my clients.

Initial Home Visit
Before you make your first booking I will visit you in your home to introduce myself, answer any questions you might have, take some basic information from you and, importantly, to meet and greet your pet(s).
The purpose of this free, no obligation consultation is for you to confirm that you are happy to trust me with your pet(s) and for me to find out the important things about your pet(s) that will let us both decide exactly which of the services I provide would be most appropriate for you.
Dog Walking
I walk dogs individually, or in pairs from the same house. In this way I can ensure that your dog gets the one-to-one attention it deserves and that it gets the type and level of exercise it needs in a safe and environmentally aware manner.
Each session is either 30 minutes or 60 minutes in length and two sessions can be booked for the same day (morning & evening).

Lunch Time Pop In Service for Dogs
My LUNCH TIME POP IN SERVICE FOR DOGS is designed to give your dog a break, some exercise and some fuss in the middle of the day. Each visit is of 15 minutes duration,
Lunch Time Pop In service for Puppies & Kittens
My LUNCH TIME POP IN SERVICE FOR PUPPIES AND KITTENS comprises one 15 minute visit per day, at lunch time.
Pop In Service for Cats
My POP IN SERVICE FOR CATS comprises two visits per day, one in the morning the other in the evening, every day of your absence from home.
60 minute or 30 minute duration options are available - the amount of time chosen being determined by the number of cats you have and by how much fuss you want your furry friends to have whilst you are not home to give it them yourself.
Pop In Service for Small (caged) Animals
My POP IN SERVICE FOR SMALL (caged) ANIMALS comprises one visit per day, every day of your absence from home.
You can choose a visit of 60 minutes or 30 minutes, the visit duration being determined by how many small (caged) animals you have and how much fuss you want them to have whilst you are not home to fuss them yourself.

Sitting In Service for Dogs, Cats & Small Animals
My SITTING IN SERVICE FOR DOGS, CATS & SMALL ANIMALS is a local, responsive service for Bannerbrook Pet Owners who need to be away from home for a short time. Whilst you are away I´ll stay in your house overnight with your dog(s), cat(s) and small animals and I´ll also visit them several times during the day.
Other Services
Vet Visit Service
My VET VISIT SERVICE is intended to ensure that your pet(s) does not miss an important appointment with the vet or grooming parlour because you are unavailable at the required time. This service is also able to deal with sudden illness or accident to your pet.
The service is available to existing clients who have signed a Veterinary Release Form and for whom I hold a key (in the case of your not being home at the required time).
Puppy & Dog Training Service
My DOG AND PUPPY TRAINING SERVICE is intended to assist you with dealing with any behavioural problems you might be experiencing with your Dog or Puppy. Dependant upon the type and severity of problems you are experiencing I can provide a one-off visit of 60 minutes or a 60 minute session each week.
Cat Behavioural Advice Service
My CAT BEHAVIOURAL ADVICE SERVICE is intended to try to help you deal with any behavioural problems you might be experiencing with your cat(s). Dependant upon the type and severity of problems you are experiencing I can provide a one-off visit of 30 minutes or a 30 minute session each week.
Key Holding Service
My KEY HOLDING SERVICE is available to existing clients and enables me to deliver all the pet care services that require access to your home during your absence. In addition, should you get locked out of your home for any reason, holding a copy of your key(s) means that I can meet you (or an authorised member of your household) at your home to let you in and means that I can provide an Emergency Pet Visiting Service if you have been unexpectedly delayed, been involved in an accident or taken ill.
Emergency Pet Visiting Service
My EMERGENCY PET VISITING SERVICE is designed to provide existing clients with peace of mind, should an unexpected illness, accident, meeting or travel problem delay their return home, through knowing that a single phone call can take care of the well being of their dog(s), cat(s) and other pet(s) until they are able to return home.
To be able to use this service I must hold a copy of your key(s), have a completed House Information Form and have met your pets.
Lost Key Let In Service
My LOST KEY LET IN SERVICE is there to provide existing clients access to their own home should they be unfortunate enough to lose their key(s). Should you get locked out of your home for any reason, you can call me and I will meet you (or an authorised member of your household) at your home to let you in.
Small Grocery Shop
My SMALL GROCERY SHOP SERVICE is to provide existing clients, on their return from a period away from home, with fresh groceries so they can spend some time with their pets before having to leave home again to stock up their fridge/freezer.
