HELLO AND WELOCME TO WAGGY WOOFERS DOG BOARDING AND DAY CARE SERVICE.

My name is Julie and I am a 60 year old dog lover. I have been around dogs for the last 37 years and have experience with various dog breeds (including large dogs). I am a member of Narps Uk (Award Winning Association For Pet Sitters and Dog Walkers). I am CRB Checked and am fully insured with Narps Uk and have my business insurance including liability insurance with Pet Business Uk.  I pride myself on running a business that is committed to taking the best care of my clients much loved dogs and providing them with peace of mind that their furry friends are being well cared for and exercised whilst they are away.

I offer a home from home environment for all my dog boarding dogs and only take on 1 dog at at time or 2 small dogs if from the same family.  In the past I have volunteered at my local re-homing kennels where I went and walked the dogs waiting to find their forever homes. This gave me a great in-depth knowledge into these dogs. Not knowing their backgrounds or behaviour I learnt very quickly to remain incredibly calm around these very scared and distressed animals who didn\'t have a clue what was happening to them. This was extremely rewarding as I built up a great rapport with a lot of these dogs and gained their trust which was lovely. It has also given me the experience and tools to now start up my own dog boarding and day care business.

We are a family of animal lovers having owned horses over the years as our daughter was an eventer. We have lovely dog of our own - a beautiful miniature Daschund (sausage dog) called Chester who we re-homed 4 years ago. Sadly Chester has suffered with spinal issues which this breed are prone too so as a family we are now very experienced in caring for a dog who is recuperating from surgery and all that that entails.
