I have had dogs for most of my life and have always been passionate about helping them, and their owners, reach their full potential. I works with dogs of all ages and all breeds, offering a variety of training options to suit different needs and goals.
I run Puppy Training Classes, starting from 12 weeks of age, as well as Intermediate Classes for continued learning and development. These are offered in blocks of six weekly, one hour sessions, designed to build confidence, strengthen communication and create a strong bond between dog and handler.
In addiiton to group training sessions, I also offer 1-to-1 training in clients' homes providing personalised guidance in a familiar environments.
I am a qualified Assistance Dog Trainer, working with clients to train their own dogs in specific tasks that support thier daly needs. I also prepare both dog and handler to successfully pass the Public Access Test, ensuring they are confident and capable in public environments.
I am proud to be an Assessor for the Assistance Dog Assessment Association, and a trainer for Dogs for Autism. I am also a member of the Institute of Modern Dog Trainers (IMDT), the Association of Pet Dog Trainers (ADPT) and the Dog Training College, keeping my methods up to date and in line with the highest standarts of modern and ethical training.
Alongside Obedience and Assistance work, I also teach Hoopers, a fun, low-impact dog sport that builds teamwork and enjoyment for both dogs and handlers.
