We are City & Guilds qualified Dog Groomers, a member of the Pet Industry Federation (PIF) as well as NarpsUK.
Sometimes a busy life means you need extra support to look after your pet. You can trust us to keep your pet happy and healthy when you're not around.
At a Dog’s Tail we offer a completely professional, bespoke service tailored to you and your pets requirements. This means that you can relax in the knowledge that your pet/s are well cared for and happy.
We will always take the time following a walk in the rain to dry off your pet and ensure they are left happy and content.
We always send a short video following any walk or visit so that you can see your pet is ok.
You won't have to worry about us going the extra mile - we always will!!

We will come to your home to walk your dog in compliance with your requirements - all determined at the FREE consultation.
We also offer a variety of other pet services as well as dog walking, i.e. dog grooming, cat care, home pop in visits for puppies or older animals, rabbit and small / caged animal care, transport to and from Vets.
We will always treat your pet as if it was our own and give them all the attention they deserve. We provide Dog Walking & Pet Care Services in Croydon and the surrounding areas.
We are registered with NARPs (The National Association of Registered Pet Sitters & Dog Walkers) and abide by their Code of Conduct
We are also a member of PIF (Pet Industry Federation).
We are experienced in pet care, have completed a pet first aid training course, hold public liability insurance and staff are DBS checked for your peace of mind.
We are constantly striving to improve the service we offer and we are always undergoing some form of training in new aspects of dog & pet care to ensure the service we offer is the very best.

Sara has been walking my GSD for over a month now and she is an absolutely fantastic dog walker. She always arrives on time, is friendly, positive and full of enthusiasm which Jerri (GSD) loves. I am so glad to have found Sara, her services are second to none and this is validated through the excitement and energy I see in Jerri when she meets Sara every morning. Sara also provides daily videos which are very welcomed as I can see Jerri on her walks. When Sara completes the walks she takes the time to wipe Jerri's paws off if they are wet and spends a few minutes with her which i think is important in building a trusty relationship. I am overly pleased with Sara and her dog walking services and would happily recommend her

Sara looked after our little cat, Mila, while we were away. She was flexible and dependable, and we felt in really safe hands with her. She updated us after every visit with a couple of photos and a report, so we felt very reassured. She was happy tp pop by afterwards to check in that everything went ok, and we'd be very happy to use her again. she takes a responsible approach to running her business, and we felt very reassured that she'd got all of the right paperwork in place. Sara was warm and conscientious, and we couldn't recommend her more highly!

Dog Walking Solo walk 1 dog £16.00 / hour
£12.00 / 30 minutes (Add £5 for another dog from the same household)
Dog Walking Group walk (max. 4 dogs) £16.00 / hour
Price is per dog unless from the same household (Add £5 for another
dog from the same household). Minimum 1 hour walks.
Puppy Visits £12.00-£22.00 / day
30 minute visits £12 / once a day / 2 daily visits £22.00
Cat Care £12.00 - £22.00 / day

We are a dog grooming, dog walking and pet care service and will try to help you wherever possible. Please contact us to discuss your requirements in the first instance and to book a free consultation meeting with you and your pet.
We also offer cat, rabbit and small caged animal care but always have a consultation first before agreeing a booking, so that we can ensure we are able to provide the services you require.
We offer pop in visits which are sometimes requested for older pets, as well as puppy visits.
During any of these visits we are happy to pick up post and put it where you request, pop in with a pint of milk or loaf of bread whilst visiting your pet, or escort an older person and their pet for a short walk or vet visit if required.
