About Bagel’s Friends
Bagel is something of a minor celebrity here in Croxley — a local character with a big personality and an even bigger love for his ball (though a tasty treat may just edge into first place). Our circle is wide and warm, and there is always space for more. Bagel’s family is a lively one: Cookie the rabbit, Peanut the wonderfully moody African Pygmy Hedgehog, Bean the tiny but mighty dwarf hamster, and a collection of tropical fish who, while beautiful, are admittedly not the most conversational companions. Animals have always been at the heart of our family life. For years, we’ve loved and cared for our own pets as well as those of friends and extended family. The work we do today is simply a natural extension of that lifelong devotion — rooted in compassion, connection, and genuine care.

🐾 Dog Walks
Whether it’s a potter around the playing fields, a wander through the Orchard, or a longer adventure in the woods or along the Chess Valley, we’ll make sure your dog gets the exercise (and sniffing time!) they love.
- 30-minute walk: £10
- 1-hour walk: £14
Every walk is tailored to suit your dog’s energy levels and personality — from gentle strolls to full-on adventures.
🐶 Puppy Drop-Ins
Puppies are adorable… but they’re hard work! When you’re juggling work, school runs, family life and everything in between, it’s not always easy to be home when they need you.
We can pop in for a 30-minute visit to help with:
- Playtime
- Toilet breaks
- A stretch and some fuss
- Fresh water and reassurance
- Single visit: £12
- Two visits: £20
- Extra visits: £10 each
Think of us as an extra pair of hands (and lots of cuddles!).
🏡 Pet Home Visits
Going away for a few days? Or working long hours?
Whatever your pet — dog, cat, rabbit, or even a diabetic hamster (and if you have one, you definitely understand!) — we’ll drop by as often as you need to make sure they’re happy and well looked after.
We’ll:
- Top up food and water
- Give medication if needed
- Provide company and care
- Bring in post and parcels
- Water plants while we’re there
- Single visit: £12
- More than one visit: £10 per visit
You can relax knowing your home and your pets are being looked after as if they were our own.
