Hi. I have had many pets over my years and decided to become a pet sitter to care for peoples pets whilst away. I have volunteered within rescue for over 25 years in many forms from looking after animals, fostering and fundraising. At present I volunteer for a local rescue called Pawz For Thought and foster many types of animals, at the moment I have foster rats, a hedgehog and a crow. I have many pets of my own including 6 guinea pigs, a tortoise and an lets not forget my 13 dogs. Apart from one dog they are all rescues. I have a huge back garden with separate secure areas for my own pets plus another for my boarding pets while they are out during the day in runs.
I have seperate rooms for my boarders well away from my own dogs as safety is paramount.
I will board any small caged animals like hamsters, gerbils, rats, chinchillas guinea pigs and most things that have beaks. Unfortunatey i don't have room for macaws or any large parrots. If you are willing to bring your own cages please do so as most animals like the familiar but cages can be provided for. Guinea pigs need to be in a cage rather than the open top Kavee type homes. This is for safety reasons once again but i can provide extra large cages for them.
I will spend time for cuddles and play daily for you pet unless they don't like being handled. During the warmer months if the weather is good i have outdoor runs for guinea pigs in a secure area providing grass, shade and toys.
Please get in touch if you have any questions.
