About Cheddleton Paws

Welcome to Cheddleton Paws.  My name is Julie and I live with my husband in a detached house with a very large fully enclosed and secure garden. We live in a rural area with numerous country walks on our doorstep. We have owned dogs all of our life and at present own 2 gorgeous dogs a 3 year old Soft Coated Wheaten Terrier and a 7 year old Toy Poodle. I primarily offer a dog walking service and a pop in service but would consider any work (including pet sitting) on an individual basis. I am reliable, trustworthy and love all animals.

I understand how important pets are to their owners, and treat all my furry clients with the best care possible.

I have used Julie for a couple of months to walk Lola. She is very flexible and has never let us down, she even came in on a Sunday when we were going out! Lola had an accident last week and she even cleaned that up for us. Would definitely recommend her for your dogs needs

Julie is absolutely fantastic, Olly (our Clumber Spaniel) has taken to her really well, Julie is a really genuine person, reliable and trustworthy, definitely the best thinng we have done having Julie in 2 or 3 times a week to walk Olly for us.

Julie has been fantastic with Maddie. Maddie refused to walk on day 1 and Julie has persevered and is now helping us train Maddie off the lead.

We needed a reliable and trusted dog sitter to look after our two boisterous labradoodles while we were in the Cheddleton area for a week. Julie had them at her home address for a few days and they settled in very well. They loved running round her large back garden but Julie also walked them twice a day which was great. It was good to know they were with someone who clearly loves dogs. Great value for money as well but the main thing is they were well cared for. So much so we don’t think they wanted to leave!

After struggling to find someone on such short notice, Julie at Cheddleton Paws was more than happy to help. Julie came round to introduce herself and pick the key up, and was lovely with our cats! She visited when she said she would and even did a few other bits for us (like bringing our parcels in and agreeing to check on our hamster). Julie kept in contact with me, sending me some updates and pictures of our cats which was super reassuring. All communication was extremely professional and Julie was super reliable! Would definitely use Cheddleton Paws again and again and again!

Julie has been visiting/walking Billy, our Border Terrier since September. She has been completely reliable and flexible, so lucky to have found her. Billy is a very loving but stubborn little fella, and she has won him round with great patience, and by introducing him to several doggy friends to walk with and play. Julie sends photos and videos and keeps us informed of anything out of the ordinary. He quite clearly enjoys himself! Would highly recommend Cheddleton Paws!
