About Gary's Paws and Claws Pet Care
Hi,
Let me introduce myself, my name is Gary. I looked after my own dog for 13 years (a lovely Bassett Hound called Toby) and have followed that on by caring for other people’s pets since 2013. Since that time, I have worked with all differing types and breeds from Cocker Spaniels to Pugs, from King Charles Cavaliers to an Airdale Terrier Cross Poodle, with some adorable cats.
Pets are a real lifetime passion of mine and I love everything about them. As a self-employed small business owner, I am fully insured through Pet Business Insurance, a member of NARPS UK and DBS checked.
How it works
Meet and greet is a must.
The aim of the meet and greet is to obtain all information required to perform pet-care, dog-walking, and house-sitting services. It is also a chance for me to go over your routines, for you to ask any questions you might have and to acquire keys. Most importantly, it is for your pets to meet me.

I provide dog-walking services, as well as doggy day care, pet sitting and a pop-in service.
Additional services
Additionally, I can take in post or parcels, turn on lights, close blinds/curtains, water plants, attend to any other pets and lock doors. Ideal for when you are work, you have to go out for the day or have long appointments.
Timetable
I am available 7 days a week, times from 8am in the morning until 6pm at night, for most of the year, including school holidays.

Day-care service for your dog
- £12 for an 8-hour day (extra £2.00 per hour outside of these hours).
- Additional dog from the same family is £5.00 for an 8-hour day.
Pet-sitting service
- £5 per hour
- £8 per hour for 2 dogs of the same family.
Pop-in service - to feed your pets
- £5 per visit
