About Wags & Whiskers Pet Services Ltd
Hi, I’m Lynsey and this is my fur baby Maya the Shar Pei.
My biggest passion has always been animals, dogs especially and I’ve owned and been around dogs all my life.
I had a city job for twenty years, but I longed for life outside the 9-5 office environment.
That’s why I decided to make my passion my career and set up Wags & Whiskers Pet Services.
My approach is just to have fun and make each walk not just a walk in the park but an adventure.
Your dog will enjoy either a fun packed walk with a small group of dogs or if needed my 1-1 attention until they are ready to join in the group.
By using my services, you can take away the guilt of leaving your beloved pet while you are at work and be reassured that they will be treated and loved like one of my family. You will return home to a happy and tired relaxed dog.
I am a registered member of the National Association of Pet Sitters & Dog Walkers and hold the Pet Sitting and Dog Walking Business Course and First Aid certificate.
I am fully insured and DBS checked.
My vehicle is fully equipped with bespoke secure cages and air conditioning so you can be reassured that your dog will travel in a safe and secure environment.
At Wags & Whiskers we can also take care of your cats or other small animals whilst you are on holiday. You can go away safe in the knowledge that your pet will be well taken care of and your home safely secure.
All we ask from you is that your dog or cat is fully vaccinated and up to date with Flea and Worm treatments.

DOG WALKING
Your dog means the world to you, but you have to go to work to earn a living. Every time you leave the house you can’t look your dog in the eye because you feel so guilty about leaving them by themselves. Sound familiar?
Take that guilt away and let us come and pick your dog up, take them on a new adventure everyday where they will become a very much-loved part of our pack and treated exactly as one of our own.
First, we get to know your dog in their own environment. See what their favourite toy is and what games they like to play. This build’s the bond between us and they will see us as their pack leader.
Our main priority is safety first, so we will not to let the dogs off lead to chase off after other dogs or small animals in the park. This can cause many problems such as being dog obsessed and pulling on the lead. It is not safe for the dog and will mean a very stressful walk.
Only when we are 100% confident that your dog is fully engaged with us, will they have off-lead time.
With us, your dog will be fully socialised, mentally challenged and returned home happy and content.
We can keep you updated on your dog’s day with regular pictures and video updates on Facebook or privately if preferred. This is also a good way for you to put our techniques into practice and you can be guaranteed to have the most enjoyable, fulfilled walks on your own with your dog.
Unfortunately, not all dogs will be suitable, so please note that we are unable to take on any dog that is aggressive. This is for the safety of all client’s dogs and any we may encounter on a walk.
Price includes:
- Pick up
- Drive to and from the park
- 1.5 hour adventure
- Fresh water after walk
- Paw wash and rub down
- Returned home and settled in
- Fill up water bowl with fresh water and fed if needed
- Feedback form of your dog’s day
PUPPY POP-IN
This service is for the little ball of fur which has recently become part of your family.
Puppies will be puppies and they will chew everything in sight if left unattended for too long and leave you little presents around the house.
We can pop in and play with your puppy and clear up any accidents that may have happened. We can also offer the basic training needed for them to be house trained and to sit, stay and lay down.
Once your puppy is fully vaccinated, we can take them on short walks and get them ready to join in the fun of the longer walks with the rest of the pack.
This service may also be suitable for elderly dogs who are unable to go on long walks or for any dog that is pregnant.
Price includes:
- 30-45 minute visit
- Let out in the garden or a short walk
- Clean up any accidents
- Play time and basic training
- Fill up water bowl with fresh water and fed if needed
- Feedback form of your puppy’s progress
SMALL ANIMAL CARE
Do you go away on holiday and worry about who can look after your cat or other small caged animal?
Worry no more because we can visit every day and make sure your pet has food and fresh water.
Cats can become stressed when put into a cattery and would be far happier to stay in their own home. We can offer a visit to check on your cat so they can have some company and play time.
The added bonus is we will make sure your home is safely secure each day and even bring in your post, open curtains etc.
Price includes:
- 30 minute visit
- Fresh food and water given to your pet every day
- Change litter tray if needed
- Some social interaction
- Check home is secure
PET TAXI
The park may be just around the corner for walks but if you do not have your own transport to get to your vet’s or groomer we can help.
Our van is fully equipped with bespoke secure cages and air conditioning and we can offer you the service of taking your pet wherever they need to go.
