Hello I am Kate Younger.
I have set up The Comforts of Home Pet Care as I understand how difficult it can be to book your cat or dog into a cattery or kennels. You may need to make arrangements at short notice or even have a pet for which there is no standard accommodation available such as a rabbit or even a lizard.
My main concern is your pets comfort and safety so you can be confident that I will put them first when you are not available.
I am 40 years old and have had pets all my life and continue to do so, so I understand as a pet owner their needs and your wish for them to be cared for as you do every day.
In addition to my years as a pet owner I have studied an animal care course at Kirkley Hall College and worked in the animal care sector. I am continuing to extend my knowledge by currently studying a distance learning course of Professional Pet Care and Veterinary Practice Assistant for a Diploma.
As I am studying this course I am a student member of the International Society of Animal Professionals and once finished I will become a full time member of this Society. I also abide by the Society's code of conduct which can be found on their websiteURL: http://www.vitalmultimedia.com/isap/
I have also completed a Canine First Aid course through Muttamorphosis Dog Training which was presented by a Veterinary Nurse andattended a Dog Whispering training course at Morpeth Adult Learing Centre, presented by an ex Military Dog handler and Guide Dog Trainer.
If like me your pet is an important member of the family be it a dog, cat, rabbit, hamster or something a little different like a lizard then let me care for them when you cannot either because of work, holiday or family event.
I will visit your home at pre-arranged times to feed, clean, groom or just play with your pet.
I can administer any medications and offer 'Newbie visits' where I will check on the newest'fur baby' member of your family. I also offer pet transport to vet or groomers appointments.
I am CRB checked and fully Insured. You can see any of my certificates on our intial meeting to discuss your requirements.
I am based in Blyth, Northumberland and can cover upto 10 miles from Blyth.
