About Pop in Pet Services

A friendly, reliable, local service visiting pet owners homes on a daily basis to put down food and water, clean out cat litter trays, walk or let dogs out. Or just to play and fuss. All pets considered. Covering Edwalton, Gamston, Ruddington, West Bridgford, Wilford, Clifton and outlying villages. (Nottingham and Nottinghamshire). I own two, elderly cats, who have been with us since kittens, so I really understand cats and their little ways! I would not be without them. I've regularly borrowed neighbours dogs and taken them out for walks. I'd love a dog but don't feel it would be fair on my two cats. So I have to get my dog fix by walking other people's. I also have three chickens, many fish, both indoors and outdoors, so I'm well placed to look after most things. I will always put the animals welfare first and foremost and make sure the owners know exactly what we've been up to whilst I've been fortunate enough to be looking after them. We have recently started using Ann’s services and will never go back to a cattery! Our cats are so much happier staying at home whilst we’re away and Ann is brilliant, she met the cats before we went away and we felt completely at ease knowing she was looking after them.

I cannot rate Ann highly enough as a reliable and trustworthy pet sitter.
Leaving your home in someone else’s care is a big step and as soon as I met Ann I could see how professional, friendly and caring she is. I have used Ann to look after our cat on many occasions. House is always immaculate on our return and Ann communicates whilst away with any questions. Her devotion to pets is very clear.

Ann is reliable and clearly an animal person as she was instantly approved by my cat. She has taken care of him on two occasions and I can tell he has been happy with the service as he has been eating all his food and when we got back he was just as confident as when we left him. Ann is a really nice and reliable Catsitter! She always offer extra care for my cats every time when she visits them. I don’t have to worry about them when we are away from home. Ann is reliable, helpful and makes a great fuss of our cat (Mozart) while we are away. I will always choose Ann over a boarding cattery because Mozart is much happier in his own surroundings and well looked after.

Ann is a true gem. Since moving to West Bridgford we have struggled to find somewhere safe and reliable to take our cat and came across Ann by chance but what a find! She keeps us up to date on our cat (and home!), ensures everything is OK in our home while we are away and Agnes LOVES her which we are delighted about as she can sometimes be funny with people who arnt us and when were away this is really reassuring. 5stars every time!

Ann has been an absolute joy to look after my 4 cats! She cleaned their bowls, fed them . Refreshed their water bowls , sat with them for a while and did this service twice a day. My cats love her. We have used Ann a few times now to look after our British Blue Shorthair boy and I can honestly say she did a great job. She provides feeds at breakfast and tea time, cleans out the litter tray and ensured he had plenty of water. She left the house very clean and tidy and we really felt like we had left him in safe hands. He's a very timid cat and doesn't like strangers but he definitely warmed to Ann; it's obvious that she is a cat lover. I can highly recommend Ann to anyone considering a pet sitter over a cattery.

From the moment I met Ann, I knew that she was exactly who I was looking for to look after my cats. Ann looked after our two indoor cats over Christmas. She did a wonderful job looking after them and they were happy to have her! Ann visited the cats a few days before our trip to introduce herself to them and get to know their routines etc. We received photos of the cats every couple of days which was very much appreciated! Ann was incredibly flexible when we had to amend our trip and we were very grateful for her care. Thank you so much! We will definitely be booking with Ann again 😀

Ann did a fantastic job of looking after our two cats for a week while we were on holiday and I really cannot recommend her enough. Neither of our cats deal well with catteries, for different reasons, and Ann was the perfect solution. She came round before we went away and took the time to familiarise herself with our house, our cats and their individual personalities and habits. Plus she even offered to put our bins out! It's clear that Ann really loves animals, especially cats, so I felt completely at ease knowing that she was taking good care of our two girls all week. Her prices are very reasonable too for the exceptional service she provides. Thank you Ann!

Ann looked after our 21 year old cat while we were away, we were a bit worried about our cat as she’s so old and we didn’t want to send her to a cattery for that reason. We felt confident that Ann knew lots about cats and wouldn’t be phased if anything went wrong. Thankfully nothing did go wrong and we returned home to a happy cat! Ann also looked after our hamster while she was checking in the cat, making sure she got some exercise and was also well fed. I would highly recommend using Ann, and her rates are very good too.

We wouldn’t hesitate recommending Ann’s services. When Ann came round she took the time to get to know our cats and asked thorough questions about them and the service we required. We had no worries leaving our cats in Ann’s capable hands. She has a real love for animals. When we came back the house was lovely and clean and the cats were happy. We couldn’t have asked for more. We will be using Ann again for our holiday in August and for years to come!

From the first introduction visit Ann has paid her attention to Sooty, getting to know her ways so that when she has visited whilst we are away, Sooty is comfortable with her. Her commitment to the job is top class. Sooty hasn't been well and Ann has proved herself more than capable of dealing with a delicate situation. I have no hesitation in recommending Ann's services.

Ann has been popping in for an hour in the afternoon to play with my 5 month old mini dachshund for the last 2 months now. After meeting with Ann, I felt entirely confident that Chief would be in safe hands. On her first visit she brought over a soft play ball for chief and it’s one of his favourite toys now! She regularly updates me with the hilarious things Chief gets up to when she’s over and send me pictures whilst I’m at work.
Ann is super flexible and I often have to change my days or add in extra visits here and there and she’s always very accommodating.
Can’t recommend her services highly enough. Fair price for some great company for your pet!
