About TLC Pet Services - Cardiff North

Since retiring in 2017 we have been running a bespoke pet care service for clients in Dursley and surrounding area. We have now moved to Cardiff North and transferred the business to Cardiff North to enable us to continue to offer a bespoke and individual service to suit your dog (s) and cat(s) needs. 

Our main focus is to provide a reliable, caring, confidential and trustworthy pet service in Cardiff and as previously, create a pet service family with our clients and their dogs and cats that are entrusted into our care.

Services offered are;

Individual Dog walking.

Pop in visits.

Pet stays for up to 14 nights (in your home) if you prefer not to place your dog into Boarding Kennels.

Cat Visits.

I would absolutely recommend Babs from TLC 100 % she came and looked after my babies in my home whilst I went away on holidays and she was amazing with my fur babies. I had daily updates with pictures & texts to let me know how everything was.& put my mind at rest. She looked after them like they were her own they were so chilled out with her and so relaxed she treated them like her own. My house was spotless when I returned and I will definitely contacting Babs again on my next holiday.

We use Babs regularly to help care for our elderly cat Rosie. Babs is caring and attentive to her, always treating her like her own pet. She spends time with her and brings her treats and sends an update to inform us how Rosie is getting on. We always joke that Babs looking after her is like Rosie’s own personal holiday! We are so lucky to have Babs to care for her when needed and Rosie loves her so much. I would 100% recommend TLC Pet Services to anyone.

My 2 dogs have been very lucky to have been walked by Babs, she has been a godsend for me working 5 days a week and knowing that they been looked after by her and will miss her a lot. Would highly recommend her to anyone and hopes she does well in her new adventure.

Babs provides a fantastic service when she looks after our cats, for example she spends time with them and even send us photos of them! Babs will draw the curtains and put the bins out and we feel completely happy to have her in our house. All in all, she provides a totally professional service with a personal touch. Highly recommend.

Just had a few week's holiday abroad, leaving our two very spoilt dogs in the very capable hands of Babs Powell.

She was absolutely amazing, and provided official documentation.

She really put our minds at rest with regular updates and photos of them on their daily walks and playing together. She went above and beyond what was expected of her.

Before our holiday, she came to our home several times to introduce herself to our dogs and get to know them. We had no reservations in leaving Babs living in our home. We would recommend her to anyone who is nervous about leaving their pets and will definitely use her again. We consider Babs to be a brilliant dog carer, and now a friend. We can't thank her enough. Babs looked after our 3 cats while we where away. Was absolutely brilliant with them. One of our monsters is very nervous around other and she managed to get some pictures of him. Was in regular contact with us leading up to the holiday . Also sent pictures of them via what's app which was a nice touch. We Will be using her again next time we are away

abs has taken on the momentous task of looking after two dogs that belong to someone who used to walk her dog, not an easy job when I was a dog walker for 8 years.
Babs has always been courteous of my requests, I was probably more nervous about her taking my two dogs out for walks than she was.
I love the care form she leaves me with details about how my dogs were that day, what they have been up to and how they have been.
Ben and Lily aren't the most straightforward of dogs (they have their own quirks) and it's the first time anyone other then my parents have looked after them, they are contented and relaxed when I come home from work and it's so reassuring to know I have someone reliable and trustworthy coming in to my two furbabies. Babs looked after Chewie, my 7 year old Bengal Cat, for almost two weeks. He has been spoilt rotten with attention and cuddles and as a result now has no concept of personal space. We very much enjoyed reading his visit record sheet! Chewie was very well cared for and we will be using Babs again in the future!

Babs took on the challenge of walking my crazy Labrador whilst I was on holiday. He can be excitable at times so I was anxious for someone else to walk him. But my worries quickly went away when I was reassured with lots of pictures and updates of him on their walk, some with Babs adorable dog, Jill.
When I got back from holiday Babs had left report cards detailing each walk they had together which were lovely to read through.
You can see Babs has a genuine love for animals. I’d have no hesitation recommending her to look after any beloved pet.
